Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Lasair chuckled as Pyre made a lady-like voice to him before following the duo inside. Instead of wandering around, he opted to stay standing by the door, glancing at the other people. If he went looking around the shelves, he’d be here all night. This was a place to get lost in simply by looking at all the different things. There were shinies, there were pretties, and everything in between.
Pyre turned around to whine about being hit in the head by a stranger, but his eyes were stolen away from his control they flittered around the room looking at all the strange and wonderful objects that lined the shelves and cabinets in the room.
He flew over to a collection of sculptures made from metal and gawped like a monkey at a banana from behind a pane of glass.

"nope, nope, nada, zilch, no go..." Vie muttered to herself as she sorted through the arrangement of gadgets and gizmos. Heh, her dad would have loved this place, even if it didn't look like it had that cog he was after. Still, there were plenty of things that interested her herself, like the small glass bottle she was currently holding in her gloved hands, turning it over and watching almost fascinated as it reflected the light in a spectacular fashion.

Yup, they were getting absorbed into the fascination that was this old shop. Glancing outside, he pondered whether or not to stay and monitor this pair, but decided he was no longer needed. “Best of luck to your exploring. I’ll be taking my leave now. Perhaps I’ll run into either of you again another time.”
Pushing through the door of the shop, he turned and walking off into the night, other destinations in mind.
Pyre looked at the clocks ticking on the wall he all in sync it was almost magical, or it would have been if he didn't have that cynical little thought about how magic would actually cause them to stop functioning. He looked back to the door way noticing the man who had shown them to the shop had not entered in after them, he glanced over to see the other member of the trio looking for her fancy cog, and the shops owner had still not turned up. With a small grin his face he went back to browsing the wears of the shop his fingers flitted over some metal ornaments compromised of old machine parts he had taken a particular interest in some of the animal ones.
Pyre strutted on over to the other shopped, ”Found anything, you wanted?” he placed a hand on her shoulder, “because.. I would say it is probably time to leave now, like our friend has.” He gestured to the doorway.
Glancing up, Vieka made a pointed stare at the males hand resting on her shoulder before she brushed it off coolly, glancing at the door he'd gestured to. Nosy red head had indeed gone, although if he had said anything about his departure she hadn't noticed. For someone who was insistent on bothering her, he sure had left without much warning. "It doesn't matter. What i'm looking for doesn't appear to be here." She sighed, tucking her hands into her pockets and making her way out the door without another thought. Still, it might be worth coming back at some point to look at the shiny nick knacks again some day.

As they turned out of the trinket shop Pyre scanned the surrounding area quickly with his eyes, making sure no one was looking at them. “Don't hit me.” he started, not the best way to begin a sentence but he didn't want a wallop as that could make problems. He looked around checking over his shoulder “I got you this.” He smiled to himself offering her a statuette of a dog, it was made from twisted metal and old mechanical parts that ceased to functioned. It was quite the marvel in fact Copper, silver and gold twined to make a tiny dog.
He stifled a giggle, “I chose a dog, because well.. Your bark seems worse than your bite.” He looked at her hoping her reaction was the one he wanted, he also took a step back to be extra safe.
