Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
it had been some time since Ratna had seen the light of day , more so she had not left the HQ ever since the end of her trial she had take up the time to not letting her eyes off a books unless she nodded on as she was reading one or if other needs like food or bathing was needed. ever since that trial she just wanted to learn and so she did what she could.
she had lost her track of time as she finished the most recent book she had read. looking over to the pile of books she had managed to get through over a time she didn't know how long but what she gain from the books was knowledge, her goal to learn as mush as she could about magic to help her become more a witch then she was right now , she rubbed her eyes as she picked up her grime and closed it over as she tried to get up , tired as she got up to find somewhere to sleep , she needed a change a bit and have a rest away from the book . so she began to look around for a better place then her face in a book .

Lasair was not one to spend much time within the guild headquarters. As enjoyable as books could be, he just wasn’t one to read them often. Besides for the library, there just wasn’t much to do at the headquarters. However today he decided to stop by and see if anyone was around—specifically all these members the leader has insisted actually exist. Most days Lasair felt like his guild was only made up of three people, and one of them had suddenly been around a whole lot less.
As he wandered through the halls, he heard footsteps not too far from him. A bit eager, he took up a speed walk to find their source, and almost bumped into his trial partner, Ratna. “Oh Ratna, nice to see you again,” Lasair smiled. “How are you doing?” He scratched the back of his head and grinned, waiting for her answer.

as Ratna made her way , suddenly a fellow came from out of nowhere and nearly bumped into her, she took a minute for her eyes to ajust to realize it the man who she did try to woo during the trial as well as the reason she made it in the the guild in the 1st place , other then could have ended up waking forever in the woods.
she took a another to process his words " oh ~ hay~ there , ~ pardon my tiredness ~ , i just finished more reading ~ and was about to get some sleep~ , what time is it anyway , or fact what day it is ~ , i lost track for time " she said with yarns between words , she looked like a mess of tired bookworm, but that was the price to pay for knowledge.
Lone entered HQ, tiptoed inside, hoping that maybe someone would be there for once. The hall echoed empty for the longest time now, and the time between visits had grown longer as her hopes fell in her search. The members of the guild were the only ones she felt comfortable around, besides maybe the hooded person that sometimes hid inside the house she also lived in, and Eryn of course. To her surprise, as she suck around a corner, she could hear voices, ever so faintly, and gasped silently. She peered in that direction with her giant eyes.

“How long have you been here? I hope not since our trial finished. There has been much going on since then and it would have been a pity for you to miss it.” Lasair leaned against the wall and smiled at the girl. “It’s the beginning of February now. The festival of hearts is coming up. You should at least attend that.” He smiled at the thought of the festival. He was looking forward to that, no doubt about it, but for now he was more focused on finding more guild members.
Clairee hadn't been back since that dreadful gang had started burning pages of Andersweltler heritage. She still swore she'd find at least one of those damned things. Having no luck so far she decided to pay a visit to the true experts on the matter of their species. If anyone knew anything (and weren't taking what they knew and burning it in a pyre of hate) then they'd be at the HQ. Sneaking out wasn't as hard as it once had been. For a while there, she'd been the object of a certain EIRAL soldiers affection and her family had her under close surveillance. Ever since that seemed to die off or he went away - either out of disinterest or perhaps a specific military post that was at some distance - at least now she was free to do as she pleased.
And what she pleased was a visit to the place that could become her second home, if she let herself get involved enough to believe it.
The last two visits had been far and few between, and the place had seemed abandoned, or like a monastary where people breathed carefully, tread carefully, and made little to no sound in their passing. Today was not such a day. Voices bounced off the acoustic walls and reverberated down the halls. Catching a snip-it of conversation, she wondered nearer to the voices to see if the conversation pertained to her mission in visiting here.

".. it has?!?... wow , new record~" Ratna said as she raised her hand tiredly but happy " well 1st there still all them books to go through , since knowledge is important~ " said said as she slumped over a bit giving off another yawn, "since knowledge is power , and power is bla bla bla ~ i guess you hears the saying over so meany times~ , but in short the best witches know that knowledge is power , sure i messed up before when i arrived here with bringing a boney to life in the poor area since they where giving me the wrong information and i ran into the woods and bla bla bla~ ya know ya get the idea that i didnt know di~dialy , if my mother was here she would have smacked my around and made me read a book on monster history". she finished with a yawn before looking to the side and seeing 2 new people "oh we got guests, hello~" Ratna waved weakly

“Guests?” Lasair asked rather confused. He turned around and realized that Ratna was right. He spotted two figures hiding in the different halls, one of them he remembered from that train wreck of a wedding. How had the little girl joined the guild? Well, that was beside the point now. He turned to give them his full attention, smiling and waving at the pair. “Hello! It’s nice to see that this guild actually has other members,” he said jokingly, well, mostly jokingly. "It's nice to finally meet you," he added.
Ratna turned focus back to her "well dear~ if you may know I been reading ~ none stop ~ since I need to know what I can, like my mother who used to a member of the ~ old Magicae Incolentium, she was known as a witch of lodan~ a title I wish to gain too" she yawned as she explained "oh yeah they did try and burn her she told me once , got away alive too ~ anyway , I would like to go out once all my studies are done , unless you want to take me out on a Date~" she suggested with a tired wink
Clairee looked at the other three people in the hall. Well, wasn't today a popular day to be 'at work'. She grinned as confidently as she could muster and walked the rest of the way to the other two greeting them. They all seemed to know one another, but she didn't know any of them. Maybe she should come out for more trials - get to know more about her group through actively participating in it.
"Hi, name is Clair" she said, offering her hand for a shake. Out of habit, her wings were still tucked away, so telling what sort of Ander she was would be a guessing game, and all one could surmise off the bat was she wasn't a cat. No claws on her extended hand.
Another woman entered, one Lone had only knew by association with the rest of the guild, and she scampered behind a towering bookshelf when she thought nobody was looking. They were distracted talking to each other, after all. As she sat in silence, her eyes wandered and fell upon a scroll tucked neatly between a couple dusty books on the bookshelf, and next to it was a bottle of ink. Maybe she could draw today! Forgetting about the others, she reached up, extending her arm, but fell just short of being able to grab it. She stepped up on the lower level of the shelf with her toes, and smiled slightly as she took the paper scroll between her fingers, but as she tried to take it down, the book next to it fell, hitting the ground with a muffled thump.

Ratna looked to where the sound of a falling book came from and spotted the child who looked very poor, but she was not of Ratna's focus at the moment as she looked back to Lasair , the other one approached them and started to introduce herself, she was not lady like offering her hand for it to be shaken but then again Ratna was beyond tired so she was picking up things that where meant to be ignored, she looked the lady up and down before starting up her own introduction "I am Ratna , Ratna Campbell , soon to be Witch of Lodan like my mother was" she said as took off her hat to make an excuse for her to not brake her her lady like behavior and shaking the ladies hand. "pardon me , am extremely tired at the moment from spending a hole months of reading a lot of the books here. " she apologized as she continued to look the lady up and down , there was something there that the lady was hiding but she could not put her finger on it.

After Ratna introduced herself, Lasair took Clair’s outstretched hand and shook it. “Lasair Landevier Lupen, at your service,” he said with a grin before releasing her hand. He turned to the sound of the book falling and saw the young girl picking up something. “Ratna, you should head off to bed before you fall over,” he said kindly as he turned back to the small group. “Clair, if you don’t mind my asking, do you know of any other members of the guild? The group here, plus Danny, are the only people I’ve met.” He decided to keep an eye on the girl, wondering what she was up to with the tattered piece of paper as he chatted with Clair.
Ratna had a mouthful to say, and Clair listened as politely as she could. She too was similarly distracted by the fallen book. when they all turned to look their eyes fell on the small figure behind the shelf. "Do you need help with anything?" She asked the little one.
Lasair indicated he knew her, and Danny. He also offered Ratna a chance to take her leave, given her exhaustion. It was kind of him to say so. "I do, I know Danny, and the famous Jak Frost, among some others. I was initiated in a large group. Sir Storm sr. is among our numbers." She tacked them off in her mind. "Oh and a shy guy named Benji." There were more, but she didn't think listing random names was going to do much so she let it go at that last one.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lesair." He had a charming attitude, and a kind of charisma that made her think he'd be instrumental in their guild dealings in the future.

“The pleasure is all mine,” Lasair happily replied. “I must say I haven’t heard of this famous ‘Jak Frost’ would you mind telling me about him? What makes him so famous, for instance.” He gestured to some chairs that just so happened to be next to the bookshelf Lone was interested in, offering Clair a seat if this story was a long one.
