Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Chasing a Suspicion (companion of Empty House, Empty Heart)
Stephen had been reading the play to himself since Danny seemed to have disappeared when the maid suddenly ran towards the door and kicked it open. Stephen watched the event with a look of shock on his face. What in the Queen's name had happened?! He was just about to get up and see if things where all right when Ikuze was dragged by the same maid towards the front door. It would have been quite the comical spectacle had he not been so utterly confused.

Danny jerked with a start in the little corner he'd managed to disappear to. There goes naptime. "Huh-wha'? Wha's goin' on? Who's there?" Danny rubbed his hands over his eyes and let out a massive yawn.

Stephen turned to Danny's voice "I... am not quite sure but Ikuze seems to have been dragged out of here. Did she mess up that bad??" he muttered to his sleepy friend. "And what were you napping for! I was trying to educate you in Shakespearian plays!" he scolded with an unhappy frown. It was not fair; the moment he wanted to do something fun everyone up and leaves him.

Danny let out another tired yawn. "Sorry Stevie, been runnin' on two hours of sleep fer three nights now... Jus' can't 'elp it. Tell ya what though, soon as I get my next big payoff, we'll go see a play, yeh?" Danny stifled a third yawn and stood up to stretch. "Wanna go see what Blue's got 'erself into?"
Lefiruc chuckled a little as he over-heard the two boys speak. "Oh no, Linda was just doing her job... a little overly enthusiastically I'll admit." he said before taking a seat slowly. "She's got sharper hearing than you two lads thats for certain. My grand-daughter decided it would be appropriate to give me... a tackling hug in my chair, and well, momentum and gravity combined." said the elder with a chuckle even as he rubbed his back. "They're just collecting her things and bringing them here. Now, I'd like your honest opinions on the girl... and how exactly you two came to know her."
Ikuze lead Linda back to her home, the maid looking around at the squalor in pity. "And... you've been here... all your life?" she asked. "Aye, that about sums it up. Made this myself as well. Keeps out the wind... mostly. So long as it ain't blowing towards my door." said the thief as she parted the fabric and going inside. As soon as both of them were inside Ikuze began to get changed. Linda blushed at the brazenness of the other girl. "Oh my..." she said as she turned around. Ikuze just rolled her eyes. "You act like you never seen a naked girl before... You ain't a cross-dresser right?" she asked warily, recalling the only other two cross-dressers she knew of.
The maid's jaw dropped open and she quickly shook her head. "No no... I'm most definitely a girl... I just... Well..." she trailed off, the thief rolling her eyes as she started to pull on her usual attire. "Yeah well, you get used to it when your early years were spent growing up in a brothel. After that? Modesty? Meh. Waste of time. Least in front of other girls." she said before grabbing her bed sheets and using them as an impromptu sack, stuffing it with all her clothes.
Stephen turned to Mr. Storm once he entered the room "I met her at the festival of hearts, just briefly though. I have run into her a few times in the past. She certainly is a character. She is ignorant on the social aspects of nobility since she has been living on the streets. I would try to teach her some of the basics to start. Although she can be... trying on one's patience at times she is actually a good person." he answered honestly "She is quite an entertaining person to be with. I hope that you treat her well Mr. Storm, she certainly deserves it." That will do for now; no need to talk that girl up too much. People might start thinking he was nice and a pushover. Would not want that happening.
