Stephen watched the girl with the odd hair disappear in the crowed with a confused look on his face. He decided to ignore their pointed comments directed at him- if they thought he was a grouchy, new-blood noble then so be it. Nothing he said would change their minds on that. "Are all you friends just as weird as you?" he grumbled, finishing up his food in a hurry. He looked at the trash from the food in his hand with a sighed. Not that he didn't appreciate the food, but now he technically owed this girl for the meal. He did not like owing people anything- Ever. Unpaid favors only spelled out trouble for the future.
He had heard that the Cockfoster family would be present at the festival and he thought he had spotted the daughter of the Baron- Caitlin Cockfoster was her name if memory served him correct. Better judgment told him that it would be too bold to go up and talk to her at the moment. She had an air of intelligence about her and he could tell that she would know he was talking to her only for the social benefit of it all. Something about her seemed to rub him wrong as well. Like she was hiding something, just like he was. Everyone here seemed to be hiding something in fact. Lodon was more delicate than he had originally predicted.
He searched the area for something interesting to do "What is your next master plan, midget? You have successfully poisoned me so I believe it's my turn to return the favor." He spotted a one of those face painting booths and pointed to it. "There, girls like things painted on their faces, right? I believe your face is sorely lacking a mustache." he smirked at her "I'll pay for it. Also, seeing how you have the personality of a three year old, I will buy you a ticket on that carousel as well." he stated firmly.
