Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Caitlin couldn't help herself. She grinned so big her cheeks hurt. "King crab are anything but snappy little buggers. These sea beasties are not the sort you get in market. You go out deep to sea to catch a net of kings, and when you bring 'em back in they don't go to market. Not at all, they go right to the door steps of those that the fishermen know can pay for such a delicacy."
They would see soon enough, as she led them back to her own cabin door. King crab cooked to a white delicate meat and smothered in butter so that each bite is both tender and sweet made for such a succulent meal that her own mouth salivated. They were definitely in for a surprise. She pushed the door open and Juniper rose like a gentleman to his feet in front of his chair.
"Please be seated, everyone, the table is already set." and it was, with silver dishes covered in silver toppers to keep the meal fresh and hot. Once they lifted the lids they would be assaulted by steam and the sweat scent of fresh catch of the day.
She sat her glass down next to the decanter and leaned back. This was nice... like falling into a vat of marshmallow fluff. Calm, muffled, the rest of the world blocked out by the closed door to his cabin, and here they were safe inside. Safe from reality, safe from their own complicated lives. Safe from duty. Safe from context. Just. Safe. --Caitlin
Rava heard Caitlin's story about the crabs " so they are like some sort of super crab?" she was still panicking inside, that its just classic that they start off with a fact of sea crabs , a classic poisoning start in that manner, however she was amazed to Caitlin's room as well decorated, she noticed all the things and the hot fellow at the table too , well at lest if she was gonna be poisoned, that she be poisoned in style and near a hot fellow too , still the case greeted the hot fellow in question with a bow and she sat down in one of the set places.
Ikuze raised an eyebrow at Caitlins description of the crabs. "Okay... I'll take your word for it." she said skeptically before they entered the cabin and she saw the set plates and cutlery. She looked between herself, the Baroness, and the former leader of the Bandits, and Juniper. "Well..." she said, rolling her fingers on the hem of her frayed shirt-blouse. "...I feel a little under-dressed..." she slowly admitted as she took her place at the table, raising an eyebrow at all the forks, knives and spoons at her plate. "Umm... why so many? Don'tcha just need the one?" asked the thief, her mind out of habit already trying to figure out how much she could fence all this silver for... before remembering that that money and the loot itself would wind up just going back to the person she took them from, her boss, Baroness Caitlin Cockfoster. Well, thieving just got a mite more confusing... she thought to herself.

"Don't worry about wardrobe here, we're mid-cruise, no sense in getting cleaned up for the crew. And it would be terribly difficult to crack the crab with only one utensil," Caitlin remarked, trying to imagine them all trying. She shook her head subtly. What a mess that would make.
Once they all were seated she lifted the lids on the trays. "Bon appetite," she gestured with her hand and let everyone dig in and slide portions of the stewed peas and boiled crab legs onto their plates. She'd let everyone sate their hunger before she dove into business. It was only polite.

as the food was unveiled it was time , she didn't know what to expect poisoned or not , so after swallowing her pride she started to eat the crap on her plate slowly, the 1st bite was to check for poison , lucky if it was poison it would have been too late if it was and be dead in minute so she continued to eat , she was enjoying it but could not beat the flavor of wild bacon , the crab tasted like a chicken to her with fishiness to it but she didn't mind since she could be poisoned now or this could be her last meal if it was her death meal and she was not gonna wasted it unless it was not poison or other death thing and depended on the mission she could hunt a wild boar later on before leaving Ca a'lla to get wild bacon jerky but who know.
she kept eyeopening at the hot guy at the table from time to time , to her he was good goods , how he ended up as a pirate was a was unknown to her but she had her guesses , could be her "employers" play toy , or husband , or man friend . she didn't say anything in case she did get a sword driven through her or thrown off the boat , for all she known she could be poison right now and enjoying the view was the most she could get while eating crab that could be poisoned "i wounder is the what he packing~" she muttered to herself
Ikuze looked at the food on her plate with a curious eyes. She turned the plate this way and that, tilted her head from side to side to get better angled views of the stuff on it, before resorting to poking at the little green balls with her knife, trying to stab one of the little squirming things with it. "Hold still..." she growled before eyeing the fork. "Hmm..." she mused before trying to stab the green escapees with the fork, smiling widely as she had managed to capture not one, but four of the little weird food things. "Okay, so this is for those." the thief girl said, more to herself than anyone in particular as she believed she'd found the purpose for at least one of the pieces of cutlery on the table.
She took a look at the knife in her hand then at the crab in its shell. "So... you must be for this then." she surmised before attempting to stab the knife through the crab's shell.

Caitlin watched with a strange curiosity as her two table guests made due with what they knew or thought they knew about eating seafood. After a few moments of interesting adlibbing, she cleared her throat politely and showed them the proper way to crack the shell and extract the crab meat within. Juniper, for his part keep looking sideways at Rava, suspicious of all the attention she was giving him with her eyes. He was unfortunately unaware of how women were attracted to him, and always jumped to the wrong conclusions when he garnered their attention.

Rava just kept looking at the hot guy , sure the crab maybe poisoned but right now she was on cloud 9 , having fantastic day dreams of this man ruffling her feathers and taking her to town on a boat in the moon light night , until she woke up for a minute to check herself before returning to her day dream " why do the good things don't last so long~" muttering to herself , she hope that if she was poisoned that it would not kill her until she finished supper and she making sure that supper will last as long as she can .
The thief girl had the good grace to look a little embarrassed as Caitlin showed how to get into the crab. "Well... you could'a mentioned that sooner..." she muttered as she repeated her actions and stuffed some of the crab into her mouth. She twisted and turned the meat around in her mouth before slowly swallowing it. Ikuze blinked a little before looking down at the exposed crab's meat. "It's a little... chewy... and salty... kinda like old beef... If you mixed beef with seaweed and shoved salt on it..." the thief mused aloud before looking at Rava, looking at Juniper, then rolled her eyes a little. "Hey, Rava, if you wanna ask the guy back to your bunk, just do it. You're kinda starting to drool into the food." she teased a little.

Juniper choked, actually choked on his crab when he heard Ikuze jab at Rava. Caitlin snickered behind her hand as he tried to cover up the sound and clear his throat with a couple of coughs. She waited till everything calmed down before putting her fork aside.
"Well, now that we've all had something to eat, I think its high time we brought up the topic of the hour. Ca 'alla's Green Stag Bandits, and how we're going to knock them down a few pegs. I'm not beyond thinking this is still some kind of setup. Whether you know it or not Rava, its a bit too suspicious the way you were handed over to us. If your bandits are looking to take out some rivals we're just the sort they'd be targeting. Bearing that in mind, I still think we need to make a statement of our own, set up or no set up. And I've already conferred with our usual deploy team. They will take care of the tactical stuff - like how we're going to get you guys on the ground without ever landing the ship. Meanwhile, reinforcements have been called in and should arrive by morning," listening to herself, she couldn't help thinking how militant she sounded, and it stung a bit. They were supposed to be carefree fun-loving pirates?! When did everything get so cut and dry around here? She'd have to figure that out later, and throw some kind of raid party or something to make up for it.
"What I want to talk about right now is the particulars of you two's part in all of this, and I want to talk about our little house guest in the brig."

Rava looked at Ikuze with a "wth" face as she turned to watch the hot guy chocked on crab "why you go do that? i was enjoying the view ,also i would if i could but remember i been shrived down there!".
after things calm down she waited and listen to what the pirate queen has to say "pardon me to say but, i think my old family handed me to you as if they thought that you guys would have killed me outright without making too much of scene knowing i would fight back if they tried to kill me and leaving me in a place where i could be hunted was there funny way of saying bye. since mainly now they have a male hair they didn't want me around at all, also i think it something to do with how i never know my own mother too..... "
she stopped to take a drink. " so am guessing right now piroty of them would be trying to keep my son out of anyone's reach and getting all the old artifacts, this is weird they didn't do this for my father but why are they doing this for my son? ". she sat back thinking
"oh and if you going down to that rat , am not going , i dont want go down , i dont want to have my anger get out of my control again , please.... " she meant them words like she didn't want a repeat of what happened before
"You got other holes don't you?" smirked the thief girl at the bandit woman, chuckling at the reaction she evoked from the big man before she listened to Caitlin and Rava's words in turn. "Okay... so sounds like the job is this if I'm following right." began Ikuze as she tried to make sense of this whole thing. "We go down, grab these artefact things, and maybe the kid as well if we can get the chance, hightail it back to the boat where the pirates decide to raise all merry hell on the bandits with some shots from the big arse cannons we've got on this floating sky-palace?" she asked, looking around the table.
Her eyes settled on Rava and grinned. "Hey, if we need more chat time with the cross-dresser, I'll happily volunteer. Was kinda fun winding the little dung up." she said with a smirk on her face.

Caitlin shook her head. Ah pirates and thieves, always so crass. The very thought of bringing them home to papa for dinner amused her to no end. The poor fellow would die of shame. This was nowhere close to being a family friendly conversation, especially if Juniper of all people was looking abashed.
"Yes and yes, that's exactly what we're going to do, but don't mind the particulars on the pirates end, leave that up to me. I want you three focused on the thieving bit. And by three, I don't mean you two and him-" She pointed at Juniper, who looked strangely relieved. "I mean the third sticky fingers that will be arriving in the morning. I've sent for additional support. We can expect another experienced hand in stealing sometime after dawn."
She offered everyone some wine from her stock under her desk before washing down her crab with her own glass. "Now, as for our little spitfire downstairs, Ikuze will accompany me down there following dinner. Rava, Juniper will show you to the crews quarters where you can settle in for the night. Tomorrow will be a very long day."

Rava give Ikuze another "what the hell Girl!" face as she know this was gonna be a mission fulled with remarks like that. after listening to what the Pirate queen and Ikuze had to say she nodded "thank you , but i do ask one thing , dont tell the rat that i changed clothing, or she will hunt me the next chance she gets if she gets free" saying trying to hold back a bit of anger of talking about Axis " also if you have plans to drop her , if she knows what we are dressed like her brother will hunt us if we get dropped , please keep that in mind" she goes to take a drink and swigs down the wine, at this point she conclude that the food was not poison which was good now all she had to worry about was the pirate and being killed , or less a worry was that Ikuze keep would make more remarks about holes
