Open to Kalum Wulfgang
It was verging on the darker part of sunset by the time the large avian found his target, swinging around an axe in the large training fields of the military base. Swooping down, Lurch made himself comfortable on a nearby post as he watched the human male, and if a bird could frown and grumble, he no doubt would. What would someone like his sun see in someone like that? All sweat and testosterone and stink, and a complete lack of feathers! who would ever want to be near someone who lacks feathers? Lurch made some bird substitute for a sniff before he finally let out a loud squawk, letting the soldier know he was there. Well, he wouldn't be if it were up to him, but his sun had asked him before giving him a wonderful scratch under the beak feathers, and how could he ever say no to that?
Swinging off his ledge, he hopped over to the built man and started pecking at his feet, lifting his wings and flapping and squawking before going back to pecking at his feet, trying to show off the small note attached to his leg. Once it was removed, he spent no time getting off the ground and away from the stinky, horrible, annoying human male, and all his male-ness too.
Wolfgang,
I believe I owe you a coffee, plus i wouldn't mind seeing a friendly face before i go.
Meet me in the park in central, the one by the lake.

Sighing tiredly, Vieka leaned back against the bench, untying her ribbon and popping the first few buttons of her shirt. Lately her body temperature seemed to be doing nothing but climbing despite the cold weather, making her feel uncomfortable and and irritable, which was doing nothing for her already strained patients. With the symptoms piling up, the dark haired woman knew she was on borrowed time, that for the good of her district and the people in Lodan, the people that knew her, she would have to disappear off the grid for a while, hang around solely in MI's headquarters while she tried to get a grip on herself, train to gain control. She wasn't sure if she could, but if nothing else she had to try.
With the knowledge that she wouldn't really be able to see anyone she had someone grown to like for a while however, she figured she'd at least get in contact with Kalum. The rest of Lodan possibly thought she was dead after the mess in Castamere anyway, and in her head, she was pretty sure she owed him a coffee for blowing up at him in Fjaril's home. That was her excuse anyway. Really, she just wanted to talk to someone who made her feel... normal. And there was only ever two people who did that. Stephen, and Kalum.
