The smile turned into a grin as Sayvahn laughed.
“My, my. Someone’s quite feisty tonight.” Leaning back, Sayvahn chuckled again, drawing his finger across his cheek. “Gratefully noted, by the way. I’d hate for you to approach me. I’m way out of your league, honey. Also, contra to what you may think, I’m more on the straighter path than not.” The man could at least get that into the other’s head. Contrary to what many would think, he did have a preference. A very straight and narrow preference. But still, there were exceptions. There were always exceptions.
“No, hun. You are in my abode. Pick one and I’ll pour it for you, unless you want neither.” Taking a sip form his own drink, he swallowed the ginger in one deep swig. It was either go hard or go home, at that point.
“You know, you strike me as an open soul, but you can never judge how open people are. Especially in this city where people live double lives and having secrets, many, more then one.” Sayvahn had plenty, but alas, this wans’t about him. Holding the ginger drink up to the man, Sayvahn toasted him. “Glad to know what your preferences lie. Much easier to get that out of the way in the beginning before going any further and playing the wonderful guessing game. But tell me, is anyone filling those preferences of yours? Any lass or gent to help you through this dark times? Wouldn’t happen to be that bird woman, would it? Cause if so.” Tipping his glass to the man, Sayvahn smiled. “You’re going to be taking one of these bottles home. And possibly slipping her my card. Lass needs a haircut.” He hummed, taking another swig.
