Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

the witch came into the shop , dressed in shroud , covering her , as she approached the Skills Merchant with one things in mind as she placed a bag of coin "please teach me Pyromancy I.... please " her eyes hidden but if someone where to look within them eyes , they would see the flames of revenge , it was time for her to fight fire with fire...

Today was a good day. Lasair strolled into the Skills Merchant happily, a large sack of EMP in his hands. “Hello good merchant,” he began in a nice tone, about to place his money on the counter, but then he paused. “Well first off, I’d like to get my free skill for my recent promotion. I’d like Gating number one to be that skill.”
With that out of the way, he then placed the EMP on the counter. “Okay, I’d like Toxins IV and V first. That’s 72 EMP right there.” Looking into the bag, he did some mental math. “And then rank one in all the magic skills I don’t already have. That includes Aeromancy, Cryomancy, Telekinesis, and Necromancy. That’ll be 32 EMP for them all. Bringing my total up to 104 EMP.”
Tiling his bag over, he counted out how much EMP he had. “And that’ll leave me with 25 EMP left. I’ll be back Monday evening to learn it all, and I’ll maybe even come by again since I’m learning a ton. Thank you so much!” He turned around and walked out of the shop smiling.

Things had been hetic lately, and needless to say Edelweiss had been waiting for the time the Skills Merchant opened business' doors again. A couple people she recognized had arrived first, and she looked at them with a hint of curiosity until there was space enough in the counter for her to be attended to. "Hmm to start with... I'll have Whips I, II, III and IV. Also Kinetics III, IV and V, Toxins II & III, Sword Fight I & II, and Health I, II, III... Oh right, and the Magic Augment I, thank you very much."
(a quick note , all skills Eryn will is after the Call thread, this will not have spoilers as the Random system is still in effect for Eryn)
Eryn approched the shop , carrying a bigger bag of shiny coins , as she came in she placed the coins on the counter and smiled at the man "hello again , can you teach me some new stuff? i need to learned how to fight better... and anything you can teach me?"
(skills: to make it easy since the old system of the randomness didn't work , I called on my 20 sided dice to randomize All the skills gotten for her to keep to her theme: she can only learn new skills if others have told her to get them skills or through randomness, however these skills may or may not be the final if Edelweiss Fjäril , Amon or Stephen Leland says otherwise )

Kalum strode into the skill shop and dropped a coin purse onto the counter. "I'd like to learn about Gadgets up to rank III." (I am using my freebie guild leader skill here so only only counting rank II and III for my purchase.) After a moment of contemplating, he continues, "And perhaps Axes I, II, and III as well as Knife Fighting II."
Opening the door, Wern looked around, a little skittish. He had passed by the so called “Skill Merchant” for many days now, and finally summoned enough courage to approach the other. Walking to the counter, he dumped some coins onto the countertop, swallowing awkwardly, wondering if he should keep some for the occasional drinking splurge, but, no. He had to stop. No more of that. For Goya and Kaia’s sake.
“Um, hello. Can I have, uh Vehicles I, Steamwork Robotics I,II, and III, Medical I, and uh, Fortify I?” Wern cringed, pushing the coins toward the merchant. "ok ill keep it short and you better deliver this time please. I want Firearms I, Firearms II, Firearms III and Firearms IV! ... please" placing a bag of 80 Europium on the counter

Gladys walked into the shop meekly, but still tried to keep her chin up as she approached with her money. "Hello. I would, um, like to learn about steam armor, please. I know it's still new technology, but I'd like to understand it better." She bit her lip and she dropped the money on the counter, looking toward the calendar of when appointments were next available. "Tomorrow afternoon would work best for me. See you then." Just as any other time Tyrell visited the merchant it was quick and awkward. He set his coins down and hardly met the man's gaze--heck, they could be a woman and he wouldn't have noticed. "Geomancy II and III please. And UC II."

The twins walked in and looked around, both knowing what they wanted but unsure of what else to get with their remaining money. They had been here one other time but they didn't have as much money as they would have liked, now though they had enough for them both to get several skills and then a bit extra.
"I need a time for Unarmed Combat I and II." Leo said as he looked over to his brother.
"If you have a slot I would like Health I, and Cryomancy II. Umm, please." Emelo added as he too looked over at his brother. Emelo sighed some as he pulled out a few extra coins, "Go nuts." He said with a smile as he handed his coins off to his brother.
Leo smiled as he took the money, "And add Pryomancy II as well."
The two counted out what they needed to pay, took note of the time they would need to return and began to walk out, "Thanks!" The two called out as the left.
