Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Fawn walked through the center of the street with her nose shoved in a book. Her aunt, having shoved the young woman out the door for some 'sunlight', had some business to attend to and Fawn wasn't to be a part of it. The novel in her hand was one of her own, she'd brought it and was gladly enjoying it. After wandering around and looking up over her book every now and then to watch where she was going she found herself at a quaint little spot. It had a few tables and chairs outside, all made of metal and given a lacy looking design. The cushions on them were inviting and the green haired Ander found herself sitting down at one of them and propping her book up on the table leaving her hand in it to hold her place. A waiter walked out and they shared a bit of small chat before he left to get her a drink.
While he was gone the woman took to her book again. Her hair pulled back into a rooster-tail and her eyes moving along slightly as she read. After a minute she shuffled in her seat and crossed her legs turning the page. This two hundred and twelve page mix of twenty-six letters was growing intriguing! She hardly noticed the waiter drop off a glass of water but after a moment she reached out and pulled it to her to take a sip and set it back.

"Ugghhhhh....." Leo grunted as he walked with his hands in his pockets and his head looking to the ground, "Are we done yet?...." He asked with a bit of a sigh.
"L... We just started shopping, and besides its for food. Something we need in order to survive." Emelo said as he picked up and apple and looked it over, "We will be out for a little over an hour, depending on how well everything goes and if you don't get distracted..." He added as he sett he apple down and picked up and orange, "How much for these?" He asked ignoring whatever his brother would say.
"UUUUGGGGHHHH!...." Leo sighed and he slumped down some, making it seem like he was melting to the floor, "I can't believe you... Why do you always have to bring me with?..." He asked as he kicked at the dirt under his feet, looking off to the side across the street. Something caught his attention as he stood up some. A familiar mint green head of hair pocked out from behind a book. Looking back over his shoulder he watched as his brother grabbed another fruit before turning and walking though the crowd to the other side. Once he got to the other side a small smile appeared on his face. It seemed like forever since he last saw this girl. Grabbing the chair he took a seat across from her, "Hope this seat isn't taken, cuz if it is I just stole it." He smirked some as looked at the book, only to let out a small sigh. "Oh don't tell me your a book worm too?" He asked as he flopped back in the chair some and crossed his arms.
"I brought you with so you wouldn't be sleeping all day. You need to get out and about every once in a while." Emelo said to himself as he pulled out some money to hand to the fruit vendor, "Besides, you don't like to be...." He stopped as he noticed his brother was gone. A small sigh escaped his lips, "Alone..." He finished as he looked here and there, not noticing Leo was across the street with Fawna.
Fawn glanced up over her book at a familiar voice. "I'd much rather be called a book enthusiast but have it you way." She said lowering the book. "Why are you out here all alone Leo?" She sat up and put the book down. He had come at a particularly good part of the novel but aside from that Fawn could spare him some time to talk. She was rather impressed that she could tell the twins apart now. Because ONLY Leo would flop so ungracefully into a chair like that. "Where's Emelo?" The winged Ander leaned forward to prop her chin on her hands and look at the boy with bright eyes. "Been making trouble for your brother like always?" Fawn teased.

"Oh now that's not nice to say. I don't ever recall causing trouble for E." Leo said as he placed his hands behind his head and sat back in the chair some. "He's not too far off..." Leo added as he closed his eyes, "He's over at that fruit stand across the street. He was lookin' at all the different food and what not, I got bored, then saw you." He said as he opened an eye only to see his brother looking for him. A small sigh escaped his lips as he thought about whether or not to call his brother over to where they were.
Emelo looked back and forth across the street in search for his brother. The two rarely split and when they did things never really seemed to go well, sometimes it was ok but on the whole... "L!" Emelo called out as he turned a bit to begin to walk off. Just as he did so he noticed his brother across the street. Walking over there Emelo made sure to come up when his brother had his eyes closed before slapping him in the back of the head, "What were you thinking? Walking off without telling me. I know you don't like doing this but do you really need to just run off?" Emelo scolded before noticing Fawna sitting on the other side of the table, "Oh... Umm... Hello Fawna, how are you today? Leo wasn't bothering you was he?" He asked, glaring at his brother.
"Oww..." Leo said as he rubbed the back of his head, "What the hell was that for?!" He questioned as his brother began to rant and rave about him leaving, Leo just rolled his eyes as he sat back in his chair as he held his hands behind his head like before. "And I wasn't bothering her... If anything your the one interrupting here." Leo added with a slight smirk.
"Well it does't look that way to me..." Emelo said as he crossed his arms and looked down at his brother.
"Oh yea right." Fawn chuckled. She ran a finger across the books cover before pushing it aside. Leo caused much more trouble for his brother then he'd care to admit and the young woman knew. The green haired girl looked up as Emelo joined the picture and scolded his brother. It was rather amusing to watch until the ginger noticed her. "Hello sweetheart, and no he wasn't bothering me as much as usual." Fawn said flashing Leo a sarcastic grin. "Emelo why don't you pull up a chair and join us." Fawn leaned over a bit and put her hand up to hide her next words to the one standing. "I can babysit if you'd like." She snickered to Emelo tossing a thumb at Leo before leaning back and taking a drink out of her cold water.

Emelo smiled at Fawna's comment, as he grabbed the edge of a chair and pulled it out some, joining the girl and his brother, "I think I would like that." He aid with a smile as he shot a look over at Leo.
"Oh harty har har." Leo said as he crossed his arms, leaning farther back into his chair, "Don't think I didn't hear that." He said as he looked off to the side with a face that said 'im mad and i want you to know i am'.
Emelo just shook his head some as his brother pouted. With a small smirk and sigh, he turned his attention back to Fawna, "Thank you for inviting us-... or well me to join, since I'm guessing he just join on his own. I do how we weren't interrupting you with anything." Emelo said, noticing she had a book next to her and figure that Leo had interrupted right at the good part, like he always does.
Leo huffed some as his brother went on thinking he was the bad guy her for staring a conversation with someone they hadn't seen in a while.
(Soooo sorry for the long wait! I forgot you replied and it was my turn!)
"I meant for you to hear it sweetheart." Fawn said giving him a smile and leaning forwards in her seat to fix him with a smug little look of amusement before turning to Emelo. "It's no problem at all. You're not bothering me, I love having people to talk to as much as I love reading. How have you two been?" She had most of her attention on Emelo, since Leo was pouting over there alone. She partially wondered how long he could go without attention.

Emelo smiled at what Fawna said, "We have been doing well. Nothing to complain about." Emelo said as he sat back in his chair some, getting a bit more comfortable than before.
Leo continued to sit there with his arms crossed ignoring the two, even though he was still listening in on the conversation. He slightly wondered if a waiter or someone was going to come back.
Emelo continued to ignore his brother at as well, knowing all to well that he wouldn't give up unless he was directly spoken to. "We have been working on some new skills here and there but other than that just trying to get used to all the noise. How about you what all have you been up too?" Emelo asked, rather glad that his brother stopped over here. It was nice to talk to someone other than your brother every once in a while.
"That's good to hear!" Fawn said cheerfully. She really found that she rather enjoyed the twins company. It was never boring that's for sure. She nodded at the bit about new skills, that was always fun to learn. It was always fun to learn anything actually, if you were interested enough about it. But she made a face at the mention of the noise. "The noise is...irritating." She agreed, putting her own spin on it. "I've only been working at the cafe and hanging out at HQ most of the time. Trying to bide my time until this whole thing blows up in our faces like everyone knows it's going to." The war seemed highly inevitable, scarily so. It was only a short matter of time before it boiled over. The booming noises that filled the streets now were disconcerting for everyone. "What do you think about it Leo?" She asked flashing a glance at the other ginger.

"That's probably a smart thing to do..." Emelo said looking down at the table some, "Personally I wish they would leave or do this when no one is around." He added noticing a few people get up and leave, dropping a few coins on the table before getting up and walking off, smiles on their faces. How some people could ignore this was still a bit of a mystery to him. Though what Fawna said net made Emelo smile some, "Good luck trying to get him back in the conversation." Emelo smirked some, "Once he's out, he's out." He added, looking over to his brother some.
Leo just shrugged some before shooting a look to his brother. Daggers seemed to have shot out of the boys eyes as he glared at the other twin. He then rolled his eyes at the other before staring off at the nearest wall, grunting some in the process.
Emelo smiled as he leaned back some, "See?" He smiled, feeling more daggers dart his way even though Leo wasn't looking at him. Emelo chuckled some before turning back to Fawna, "Hopefully it will end soon though." Emelo said, dropping the smile he had before looking up to the sky some. "Anyway, are you doing anything later today? If not maybe we could go and get something to eat, or something along those lines." Emelo said, somewhat done with the talk of war and what all was happening.
Fawn looked around a bit smiling a bit at the other twins antics. Changing back to Emelo happily, "I hope it will! No one around here enjoys the sounds or the pressure it puts on everyone." Taking a short breath to try and get rid of the knot along her shoulder blades. Just the thought of the war often gave Fawn an uncomfortable sense of dread. The idea of going out to eat however was a good distraction. "I'm not busy today. I planned to spend a good amount of the day reading and then maybe an hour or two out practicing but I wouldn't mind doing something with you. Assuming since your brother is pouting and far too busy to hang out with the likes of us." Fawn giggled, taking a sip of her water as the waiter approached them, offering to serve the two now in the green haired woman's company.

Emelo smiled at the girls comment. It was funny to see her tease his brother like this, normally he was the only one doing that but with her here. He smiled before turning to the waiter, "Just a water and iced tea." Emelo said, ordering for his brother without even realizing it. "He may just end up being that awkward third wheel anyway." Emelo said with a smirk as he glanced over to his brother.
Leo continued to sit in silence as the two talked and the waiter wrote down what Emelo wanted, though just as he was about to wave the waiter off the next comment his brother. Leo smirked some as he let out a short grunt like laugh, turning some and staring back at the wall.
The smile on Emelo's face faded some as his bother laughed. "What was that for?" Emelo asked as he stared at his brother.
"Cuz I wouldn't be the awkward third wheel. That would be you my friend." Leo said with a smirk as he looked over some.
"Oh I'm the awkward third wheel!" Emelo said, the same smirk coming over his face as the one that was on his brothers. "Have you seen the way you act?"
"Well at least I know how to talk with people, all you can do is sit around with your books. Besides I'm the one with the good looks, unlike you." Leo added, now staring his brother down.
"Oh your the one with the good looks?! Ha! Have ya looked in the mirror lately?" Emelo said, now butting foreheads with the other twin. "And books are so much better than spending a day hitting a sack full of sand. What is the point of that?"
"What's the point? Man have you even seen me?! That just adds to my looks. And besides, who doesn't like to hit things." Leo smirked, head completely squished against his twin.
"People who actually know how to read."
"I know how to read!"
"Sure you do, just like you know how to pass a writing test."
"Words are overrated and you know I'm not a good test taker. At least I can navigate thought the city. After all this time can you do that?" Leo smiled, sitting back in his chair some.
"I'm getting better at that!" Emelo said as he blushed a bit, "I'm just not good with the maps..." He mumbled some.
Leo smiled, "You know I always win that."
Emelo just let out a huff, knowing full well that he could never get the last word in that.
Fawna smirked at Emelo's comment, glad he was joining in on the fun. However as the two begin to quarrel she can't help but grin. Her grin grew wider as the petty fight escalated, her laughter ringing out between them as she put her hands across her stomach. Those two gave her the giggles at times and she enjoyed it. It felt good to laugh now and then. She placed a hand over her mouth, giggling gleefully as she tried to stifle herself a bit. "Boys...pffft....boys please!" She looked between them with a confident, and downright cheeky expression. "You flatter me, but I'm nothing to fight over." She purred jokingly before laughing again and pushing her green hair back out of her eyes. She was putting a playful spin on the whole thing, not one for those easily riled up. But the twins did it with good heart. "Calm down you two, before you kill me because I suffocate from laughter!"

Leo smiled at what the girl said, "Well now that would be a bad thing if we let that happen then hu." He said with a playful smirk. He liked this girl, found her funny and easy to talk with. After all he did like talking to other people other than his brother, at least every now and again.
Emelo huffed again as the red in his cheeks slowly began to fade. He knew his brother was playing with him but still... Looking over to Fawna some Emelo couldn't help but let a small smile peek though. It was funny to see the girl laugh and it made him feel good, all their bickering did something good at least. He eased up some as the girl continued to giggle and say she may die from lack of breathing, "I suppose that would be a bad thing." Emelo said with a smile.
"Well then..." Leo began as he looked off into the street some before turning to look back at the girl, "Where should we head off too? After all we can't just stay here all day."
"Well I suppose we could, this is a restaurant after all. We could always just get something from here." Emelo said as he looked over to the building some.
Leo sighed a bit as he turned towards his brother, "Well that's just not any fun, why not go somewhere else?" He questioned as he looked back over to Fawna, "Though I guess this is your call. What do ya want to do?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Fawn grinned at the two listening to her options. She stood up as Leo asked for her to decide. Bring down the hammer of good ideas! She walked around the table and ruffled both of the twins ginger hair before pulling them to her with an arm around either ones shoulders. "I know a good place not far from here. It has it's space for quiet, and for getting rowdy. If you two think you can handle it?" She smirked waiting for approval or disagreement. The best way to work with this situation was to find something they could both do, in the same place. And the pub she had in mind worked with Emelo's more cautious attitude well on one hand, and Leo's rebellious one on the other. Oh the excitement.
