EIRAL assignment only.
An Overview of the mission:
The meeting had been short and to the point. Spared little details, the squad had been given their instructions and their supplies then sent off to enact. Each personnel was to meet at the far, far end of the city's northern limits where a stretch of dirt road led one way toward the cliff side where the Wulfgang observatory resided, and where another, almost hidden spindly path winded its way into the woods. Just before their meeting spot lay a ruined building though not from the mortar fire as much of that had been contained to the southern region of the city, but instead of old age and what may have once been a historical landmark. This was likely where most of the unit would gather as it would provide cover and secrecy for them in case Sveden had eyes on them--which begged the question. How many Sveden were this far north? Were they not only attacking from the South? If they were also north, how long until they expected to see attacks to come from this end?
There could not be many, resolved Kalum in his mind. Perhaps any enemy units they came across were those running a similar mission to theirs--but rather than to rescue or retrieve, it was to kill. He couldn't be sure. It was early morning when he arrived at the old structure with Caracalla sleeping soundly on his arm. He was the first to show just an hour or so before the first rays of sun began to trickle over the world. Silently he waited for the others to join him while wondering about each. Why had they all been picked when highly sensitive missions such as this were left to the veterans? Was EIRAL already stretched so thin that they had to resort to lower rank? He couldn't speak for others though he knew his purpose likely was for his skill in tracking, and because his hometown of Bimbury was on the other side of these woods meaning he knew them better than most.
Who would be the first to arrive after him, he wondered.
An Overview of the mission:
- Locate the cabin along Woodcreek Lake in the Northern Forest.
- Return Person of Interest back to EIRAL Headquarters.
It is believed that one of EIRAL's most valued intel informants may have been discovered by Sveden spies. The gathered group's assignment is to ensure the Person of Interest is returned back to EIRAL headquarters safely. Avoid detection by Sveden units if possible. Do not engage in combat unless necessary in order to avoid detection. Risks run higher in hazardous zones due to the outbreak of the war.
