Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Lasair clenched his stomach as he leaned forward, fighting the sudden pain that was in his lower stomach. It consumed him only until an ear-piercing scream erupted, however. Looking up, he saw Ratna dash away, on fire. That wasn’t good, not good at all. But it was too late for him to do anything about it.
When Vieka walked over to him, he could only blink at her a few moments, the pain still making him scrunch up his face. Was he mad at her? No, he wasn’t. But was what she had done to the girl okay? No, probably not either. He was too drunk to care, if he were honest. Despite her healing liquid, he was still very messed up.
“With all that yelling, a guard is bound to show up,” he remarked quietly, eyes still fluttering between open and closed as he grabbled with his internal discord. He would not be upset if she left him here like this. He would not tell her to get lost if she insisted on helping him. In fact, the only thing he was sure about was his passivity right now, for the drama between them all had been too much for his alcoholically crippled mind. Zona’s departure wasn’t even on his radar, given that a certain mask was staring him down instead.
By all means her mask hid her face from view, but it didn't hide the pleased tenor her voice was definitely laced in. "You're right. Come on, let's make tracks and I'll help you get back to mine. Hopefully I can fix you up a bit better there; you look like shite." She snorted half heartedly as she pulled one of his arms around her shoulder and carefully heaved him up. She stopped for a moment, wondering if he was going to vomit with too much motion. Probably, but if he did, she just hoped it was away from her. Doctor or no, Vomit and puss fountains were a little difficult for the woman to actually stomach- give her a ripped open intentional track any day over that. blegh.
"Or would you rather just get home? Personally, I'd rather see to it that you don't have alcohol poisoning. Some decent nutrients and a lot of water won't kill you either." She muttered the last part under her breath, thinking back to the last time someone had stumbled into her clinic with a stonking hangover. What was the appeal in getting so drunk you couldn't even identify anyone around you? Forget for a couple of hours? Was the aftermath really worth that? She supposed she could ask him once they were out of the open. Mind set, she worked on helping him make baby steps out of the crappy district.

The ander coughed quite a bit as he was hoisted to his feet, but didn’t throw up. For some odd reason his stomach was determined to hang onto its contents and stab the one hosting them, as opposed to just emptying the contents. “Take me to your place, leave me at mine, dump me on the street, do whatever ya want.”
His body was mostly limp, the only muscles being exerted were putting the effort in to somewhat hang onto Vieka, instead of falling back to the ground beside her. It wasn’t that he didn’t have the energy, but more that he lacked the willpower to do much of anything right now. What little reserves he had left were used up when he told the trio to stop the brawl. Now, he was just a lump. A very sad and very drunk lump.

"Oh no! Don't think your welcome in here after that last stunt!" The bar keeper called out as he pushed Zona out of the front door, "I don't want you or that Girl back in my bar! Find another!" The man said as he slammed the door of the bar shut.
As Zona was pushed out of the bar she nearly lost her balance, stumbling some as she managed to somehow keep on her feet. "drat you!" Zona said as she whipped around just before the man slammed the door shut. Narrowing her eyes some Zona shoved her hands into her pockets as she kick at the dirt under her feet some, "frak you and your drat bar..." Zona added under her breath as she turned around to head off, she had no idea where she was going to go but she obviously couldn't stay here. As she turned around she noticed the brunette woman trying to help Lasair up. Her eyes softened as she took a few steps closer to the others, "Ya need some help?" Zona offered as she noticed Lasair being more of a blob rather than an actual person.
Badger: The cuss you are. Mr. Fox: The cuss am I? Are you cussing with me? Badger: No, you cussing with me? Mr. Fox: Don't cussing point at me! Vieka wasn't exactly a push over, but strength was certainly not her forte. She preferred to use her intellect over simply using muscle for everything weather it be day to day life or in combat, so when Lassair decided to act like the human equivalent of blubber she jerked and stumbled, struggling to keep his weight off the ground. The man was both taller than her and heavier than her, so how he expected the doctor to drag him back to her place with no help on his part was beyond her. "Blast it all Lupin use your dratted feet, I am not capable of hauling your dumb arse all the way back to mine If you're going to be insistent on playing the human blob!"
Frowning behind her mask, She glanced up when when she heard a call, noting the girl with the eye burning hair was back again. Well, if Lassair wasn't going to be any help, she wasn't going to turn the bluenette down. "Please." She stated, although her tone was less like one being grateful for a favour and more like a tone of rather potent annoyance considering her current circumstances. how did such a simple intention such as going out for a drink land her in so much drama?

As he saw Zona approaching them, offering help to Vieka, he quickly changed his demeanor. Digging up some of those reserves, he pulled himself away from the masked woman and stood on his own, if only a few seconds. “Never mind. I ain’t worth this much trouble.” He hiccupped, or maybe it was a burp. Hard to tell. “You never liked me,” he sneered to Vieka, finding the courage to say things to her he normally never would. “And all I ever did was try to see you be happy. And you,” he looked to Zona now. “You’re too wrapped up in your own world to make time for anyone else. Not even your brother. I don’t need to be a part of that, waiting around for you to remember to let me in again. I don’t need that from either of you!”
Tears were clouding his eyes now. Was he acting like a child? Probably. Did that make his feelings invalid? Not necessarily. Would he regret his words tomorrow? Most certainly. But for now, all he did was turn around and stumble away from them, leaning on a building for support. They should leave him out here. Let a guard find him. Anything to end this inner torment.

Zona nodded as the woman said help would be nice and just as she was about to grab Lasair arm he stood on his own. Zona was slightly surprised by that alone but what he said next only added to the shock. Zona stood there wide eyes as Lasair spoke. Is that what he really thought?... Zona's eyes slowly narrowed as she stared at the back of the man who was trying to walk off but seemed to get stuck next to a building. Did he think they would just leave him there? Though she had no idea what the other woman would do Zona made up her mind as her hand slowly balled up into a fist. Walking up next to the man she stood behind him for a moment before crossing her hands over her chest and leaning up against the wall he was using for support, "bumrag..." Zona said under her breath as she stood there next to the man. She wasn't going to just leave him there but since it seemed like he didn't want help right now she would just leave him be to rest against the wall. "Let me know when you want to leave." Zona said as she looked over to the other woman, "And you can leave him with me. I'll get him home later." She added before glancing over at him for a moment before turning and looking down to the ground, closing her eyes in the process.

There was a bit of a delay, but when he realized what Zona was doing, he turned around to glare at her. “Leave me the f*** alone. I don’t want your help. I barely want hers,” his eyes drifted to Vieka for a moment. “But never mind that. Go home. I’ll get to where I’m going just fine.” Pushing himself off the wall, he began stumbling away again. It wasn’t that he couldn’t walk, it was just difficult. And he wasn’t going very quickly. And he kind of hoped an EIRAL would show up and end this torture, in one way or another.
The young doctor watched the mess unravel from behind the two, her arms crossed and her head tilted some to the side as she let Lupin have his piece to say. His words didn't much surprise her, for whatever reason, a lot of people thought she disliked them. Sometimes they weren't wrong, sometimes they were. It really depended on the person and how used to them she was. Sighing slightly, Vieka moved forward, past the blunette by the wall and past the drunken male spewing his feelings like vomit. She paused by him, Although she did not look his way.
"I have only ever bared hate for two people in this world. You are not one of them Lassair." Frowning slightly, She shook her head before shoving her hands in her pockets. She wasn't used to using first names, the sound of his was rather foreign to her tongue. Either way, the use of it seemed more meaningful to her as she continued walking forward. If the male wanted to be a stubborn mule she would let him; the winged ander wasn't going to waste her time trying to help someone who did not want to be helped. She figured it would go one of either two ways. Once he sobered up, he would either seek her out, or he would avoid her. The choice was ultimately up to him and she could not make his decisions for him.
"My clinics Open if you need me." Were her parting words before she disappeared around the corner.

Zona didn't move a muscle as the man began to get mad again. Though her body stayed still and calm, she was boiling over on the inside, she was so ready to smack him upside the head. She waited until both Lasair and the brunette had finished before Zona even thought to spoke. At least the woman was going home, after all she didn't need to deal with this, then again maybe she did, Zona didn't know how well the two of them knew each other after all. Staying in the same position as before Zona watched Lasair out of the corner of her eye, "I ain't offerin' my help, but I ain't leavin' ya either." Zona said, she wasn't planning on just leaving him but if he didn't want to talk then so be it, she would just be standing there (kind of like a stalker) in case something happened. "So just deal with it." She added, not planning on saying another word.
