Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

"We don't mind at all." Emelo said with a light smile as he glared at his brother. Turning his attention back to the girl his gaze softened, "We just may tag along so we don't have to find and meet up with you later." He added, and no sooner did he say that Fawna went after Leo and began to drag him off. Emelo couldn't help but chuck some.
"Hey what are you doing?!" Leo protested some, as the girl wrapped her arm around his, keeping him within her sights. Sighing some, Leo seemed to have given up for the moment.
The two stayed quiet and listened in slightly as Fawna and Kalum talked. It had occurred to the twins that they may had interrupted the two from talking before they joined in. Though Leo never really cared, Emelo couldn't help but feel like the two of them had been a bit rude, after all they did just kind of barged in on the others.
Once the two seemed to be done a thought popped into Leo's head as a smile emerged from his face. Leaning in closer to the girls ear, smirking some, "Ya know, I normally don't move this fast in a relationship. Thought I think dinner would be a nice first step." Leo said as he stood back up straight and continued on his way, placing his free hand in his other pocket.
Emelo began to then follow behind the Fawna and Leo, walking somewhat next to Kalum. Turning to the rather tall man Emelo smiled lightly, "So how long have you been in the city?" He asked, hoping to make light conversation since Leo seemed to be talking to Fawna.
"That makes sense." Fawn agreed pondering the thought of hitting the shop before going on home. She then slowly changed direction, "It would be easier to go ahead and swing by, if you don't mind a few extra minutes to the walk." She trailed off as Leo whispered in her ear. She returned his smirk with a cheeky grin of her own. Lowering her voice she looked at him sideways between gaps in her bangs. "My, my, I didn't realize. Pardon my intrusion pretty boy." She teased back batting her eyelashes playfully. He had charm, but the girl had wits and will of her own. She moved in a little closer and matched his stride. "Remind me to take it slower." She turned her attention to the road again looking for the familiar sign of the shop she wanted.

Kalum quirked a brow at the interaction of the brother with his arm looped in with Fawna's and Fawna herself. Hm, he could have sworn the boy was too young for the woman... but he had seen odder things in the country and therefore was in no position to judge. His silence was interrupted once a voice broke out to his side and he glanced down at the other brother. "Two weeks or so," came his curt reply before looking forward and then he exhaled through his nostrils to hide a sigh. He should be polite. "Have you grown here your whole life?"

The two walked in sync with one another as the group began to move along. Even though the two weren't next to one another they still took each step together. If the two were standing next to one another they would end up looking like a mirror image of one another, opposite feet hitting the ground at the same time, left-right-left-right, right-left-right-left.
"Pretty boy?" Leo replied some what out loud, but slightly more to himself, still with Fawna right nest to him it would have seemed like he was talking to her. Smirking some he looked over to her, "I like it! Though I must say I'm more used to L, although I think I may grow fond of 'Pretty boy'." He said with a smile.
Emelo smiled lightly as the man replied. He was happy not only because a conversation was going between him and someone other than his brother, but also because the man was new, just like the two of them were. Emelo's smile quickly grew to a light chuckle as he man asked if they grew up here, "No, no..." Emelo said as he smiled again, "We just got here a few weeks ago too. Our father actually sent us here." He added, the thought of the boys father then popped into Emelo's head, his smile grew softer as it did.
Leo overheard his brother and a small frown came upon his face, he wanted to smack that smile his brother had off his face, but his attention was turned back to Fawna as his arm tugged on hers slightly, reminding him that she was still in slight control. Smiling some Leo thought of something else to say to the girl that would go perfectly with what she had just said. It would not only to continue their conversation but to get his mind off of what his brother just said. "I must say, sometime I like it fast. Slow can just be too boring." He said with a smirk as he leaned in a bit closer to the girl. He was having way too much fun with this.
"So," Emelo began, trying to continue the topic at hand, "Since your new here you obviously grew up somewhere else. Where might that be." He said turning some to look up to the man, "I mean, that is if you don't mind me asking." He added with a light smile.
Fawn laughed. "I usually come up with good nicknames." The woman was partially listening to the two behind them. Both of them were new, that was interesting. She didn't miss the look that crossed Leo's face at the mention of his father. "Your a cutie I'll give you that. But I might be a bit out of your league." She smirked, a cheeky expression lighting up her face. She didn't mean it in a mean way, but she was a little too old for the boy. The shop wasn't but a few more doors down now. She pointed to it speaking mostly to Leo, "There it is. Butter for all." The last bit had more than a hint of sarcasm. It was the bane of her existence at the moment, or was that her aunt? The woman made a face and carried on.

"Your father sent you? If it is not too rude of me to ask, where are you both from?" His tone was pleasant enough as he was genuinely curious. Knowing he was not the only outsider was reassuring in a way though he had come to quickly learn that Lodan was far entirely different than he ever knew. "Do you like it here, uh, pardon. Which were you again...? I am rather terrible with names." With his focus on the twin he was conversing with, he had missed the interactions between the other two until they came across the shop.

"Oh... I'm out of your league, am I." Leo said with a smirk as he looked up ahead to see the shop. They had gotten there quicker than he had originally thought, then again he had no idea where they needed to go... "I do have to say, mint green never was my favorite." Leo smiled, interested in egging the girl on.
"Don't feel bad about it! Besides it probably doesn't help that we are twins" Emelo said with a smile as he flipped a few stray hairs out of his face and to the left. "I'm Emelo. My brother is Leo." He replied with a smile, flipping the bag in his one hand to the other. "We are from a small town about two days out from here. Besides our father nothing really makes the place special or memorable." Emelo said as he looked ahead at the shop, he actually wanted to stop in there before. "It's just a small little farming village, but because of the business that our dad does, he is having it slowly gain in popularity. Even though it still is a small farming village." Emelo added with a smile.
Leo was still listening in over his shoulder as they all continued to walk closer to the building. Snorting some he called back over his shoulder to the two, "The only reason that's happening is because of the money he is scamming out of people..." Leo said with a bit of hate in his voice.
Emelo just sighed some as he brother replied, not only was he listening in on what they were saying but he just had to say something... He never could keep his mouth shut when it came to something involving their father.
Fawn laughed. "Ouch. That one hurt." She said still smiling. "But as I recall you were the one who asked about my hair in the first place." Fawn lost her whimsical humor when Emelo and Leo began to go off about their father again. That was going to be a very touchy subject. Trying to relieve the newborn tension the woman tugged on the boys arm to turn him away and prevent him from looking back. "To be honest I'm fairly sure gingers steal souls. Don't want that to happen." Fawna teased. She might want her soul for future purposes. With a rather wide smirk Fawn released him to go open the door to the shop and hold it just long enough for another to grab it.

"How interesting," was all Kalum could offer to the conversation until the other brother spoke of scamming. His teeth clenched and there was a notable tick in his jaw from the action but he said nothing after as he continued to look ahead of him until they reached the shop. Once they did, he took to standing beside the door where he was content to wait until the other three were through with their shopping.

Shaking his head some, Leo turned his attention back to Fawna and what she was saying. He couldn't help but smile at what she did say, "Hey now, we gingers do have a reason for stealing souls." He began as he grabbed the door from Fawna and walked in behind her looking around some, not really looking at anything in particulate but keeping his eyes moving from one thing to another before turning them back to the girl. "We steal them because we don't have our own. Haven't you ever heard, Gingers have no souls." Leo said with a smirk as he shrugged his shoulders some.
Emelo happened to look over at Kalum after his brother spoke up about their father, the man didn't seem to happy about that. Sighing slightly Emelo waited until Leo walked in with Fawna before he turned to Kalum, "Sorry about him." Emelo said with a light sigh, "Our father would never do that. I just don't know why Leo would think he would..." He added as he rubbed the back of his neck some. He never did understand why is brother acted that way. "He really is a good man. He helped so many people." Emelo smiled, he was always proud of his father and it showed whenever he talked about the man.
"We have always wanted one so we try and take what we don't have." Leo said with yet another smirk as he turned around to look at the door some, wondering where his brother was. Turning back to Fawna he smiled, "We also don't have butter." He added trying to take his mind off where his brother was. He didn't like the fact that he didn't know where Emelo was.
Walking over to the door Emelo grabbed the handle and began to open the door, not before turning back and looking over to the man. From the look of it he seemed like he was going to stay out side, "Are you coming in too?" Emelo asked before holding the door open some, as though the man were going to enter.
"Exactly. I need my soul, I happen to like it." The woman snickered as they entered the store. Fawn noticed that the other two had not entered the store. As Leo continued she went to the window to have a quick peek. Emelo was standing at the door and Kalum was still holding her bag. 'Ok, twin two accounted for and my groceries haven't been run off with. All is well.' The green haired woman then went back to Leo. "Ok, butter is in the back soul stealer. I've got something to ask the cashier so go grab some and I'll be right here." Fawn patted his shoulder a little before heading up to the counter. "Hello?"
"Hello there how may I help you?" A man showed up smiling to the counter, eager to help the new customer. Fawn pulled out the list that Aunt Rose had given her and pointed out one item murmuring to him quietly. The man lost all color in his face and just stared from her to the list. "No? Not good? Fine, forget I asked." The woman said folding the paper back up and slinking away from the counter.

"What is there to apologize for? He is not you and you are not him. Your actions and words do not affect my impression of him nor do his action and word affect my impression of you. The both of you look a like but you are not the same," came the soldier's reply as he studied the twin before him then shook his head. "I will remain out here to stand guard," he stated, a partial truth. If anything, he simply preferred the outside more than inside of almost anywhere.

"Phhhh...." Leo said as he raise a hand and made a wiping like motion almost as though he just brushed off the last comment she made, "No one needs their soul, everyone just thinks they do. Besides we only want them so you don't have them." He said with a smile as he followed behind the girl, thinking she would lead him to the butter only to find out he was wrong. Standing there for a moment in udder shock Leo didn't know what to say, "What?!" He said as he turned to look in the direction the girl was just talking about. "I have to go find it?! But that's Emelo's job..." Leo said as he slouched some and looked over his shoulder for his brother who was still no where to be found. As he turned around he saw Fawna was already gone on her way doing whatever up at the counter. Narrowing his eyes some Leo gave up and walked around the corner and to the back of the store. The hunt for butter was on.
Emelo froze in place at what the man just said to him, a slightly shocked expression came over his face for a moment, but left just as quickly as it came, "Ya know... Your the first person to ever say something like that." Emelo said as he shifted slightly, still holding the door handle though, letting a small smile appear on his face, "But he is my brother." He began, letting the smile grow bigger as he looked over to the man, "I have to apologize for him. It's what we do!" He said as he cocked his head to the left some, "Older one messes up, younger one says sorry for it. That still applies to us even if we are twins." He added as he opened the door and walked inside.
Leo had made his way to the back and had somehow found the butter, but because of the set up of the store he couldn't see or hear that Emelo had entered the store, so he began to looked over all that they had. In fact they had all different kinds of butters here, they had goat butter, sugar butter, regular butter, non-fat butter, butter with some kind of flavor to it, a butter that wasn't even butter. Leo just stood there and stared at it all with wide eyes, unsure of what to do. (Have no idea if there is actual butter like that but we are makin' it a thing now!)
Walking in Emelo saw Fawna but not his brother. "Hey where is Leo?" He asked as he walked up next to Fawna who had just folded something up and slipped it away. Emelo couldn't help but look at her with a curious face, not about his brother but about what was on the paper, "Everything alright?" He asked, having a feeling something was a bit wrong.
Leo had done his job and was making his way back up to the front. As he did so he carried one of each kind of butter along with a few things of cheese and crackers, making the pile in his arms that much bigger and harder to see around. He would have run into absolutely everything if not for his cat like senses, helping him maneuver around everything with a bit more ease, still if anyone were to just walk in front of him a collision would happen. "Hey I found it!" Leo said as he got to the front and peered around the pile in his arms, smiling as though he had done something good.
As Emelo heard his brother he turned to look only to see the largest collection of butter, cheese and crackers one person could possibly hold. "What the...." Emelo said as he just stared at his brother.
Fawn looked up as Emelo appeared. "Sent him to the back to get butter." She said sourly. "Hard to find a place who will dish out twenty things of butter to one person without legitimate reason." Fawn cast a glare over to the clerk. She huffed a breath and crossed her arms as well as she could with a bag in one and tapped the toe of her boot on the floor. However this frown soon turned to a look of utter disbelief and confusion as Leo returned. Well, it sounded like Leo, there were at least ten kinds of butter in the way. And some cheese and crackers. Fawn and Emelo shared the same thoughts and look until Fawn busted out laughing. The situation was far to funny to be dealt with on any level of seriousness. She laughed harder until she was leaned up against the nearby shelf for support. "You boys....are....too much!" She said between fits. Straightening herself she put a hand partially over her mouth still grinning. "Sweetheart I don't think you'll need that much." She said trying to hold onto her loose shred of rationality.
