Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Elaine pushed off the counter and grabbed Zona's bowl with a grin. "Sounds like someone else I know." She snickered turning to put the bowl in the sink and return to her post. "Wonder who that is?" The girl gave her friend a look and scrunched up her nose before laughing. Victoria smiled. "If you two are done you can go sit in the front room and find something to do." Then she leaned over to Zona. "I would let you in Elaine's room but that is an artistic disaster area at the moment." Elaine snorted in disbelief. "It's organized clutter. And there's a good reason for it. Im trying to sort out my supplies." Her father looked up. "You mean that arsenal that could support a small army of artists?" He teased smiling as his daughter gave him a look. 'Your not helping.' The girl thought. She stood there and narrowed her eyes at the wall waiting for Z to answer.

"An Army of Artists?..." Zona said as she thought about it some, she then thought about CEAsAL. They were made up of all sorts of artisans and crafters and what no. An Army of CEAsAL... that could be good. Zona let out a small chuckle as she shook her head. Standing up she grabbed her things and walked over the Elaine, "Lead the way, O'Miss Art." Zona said as she gestured into the air, as though she were bowing.

Elaine rolled her eyes at Zona. "Don't encourage them." She mumbled heading out the side room of the kitchen into the hall.
The first door on the right was the kitchen and the small part of the hall suddenly seemed to stop. Elaine headed that way and made a right. The hallway was like an L, as she turned there was a large arched doorway on her left into a large room with bay windows lighting up the place. A sofa and two nice chairs sat upon a rug in the middle of the room. There were two smaller tables on both sides of the twin chairs. There were a few pictures on the wall and two long bookcases on both walls. "You can wait in here if you like or follow me. I'm gonna go get something out of my room." Elaine turned and continued down the hall. A door to her left wad a bathroom and then there were aligned doors to her left and right. She clicked open the one to the right.
The room was colorful. Like ridiculously colorful. Probably had something to so with the murals on the walls. A half-finished one sat above her bed. The girl crouched to scrape together her ideas scattered on the floor, sketched on paper. Shelves about shoulder high held paints and other supplies. Everything in it seemed in order even though it was all over the place. Organized clutter was the perfect description, neat in its own messy way. The girl had a desk that was amazingly void of items. She laid the papers on it and a handful of pencils and paintbrushes. Turning in a circle she grabbed a deck of cards from one shelf and turned to leave.

Zona followed the girl as she led Zona in what seemed to be a living room. Zona looked around as Elaine said she would be back and that Zona could follow if she wanted. Zona set down the bow and gun but carried the jacket with her as she followed the girl. She stayed some distance away as she looked at some of the walls and pictures in the hallway. As she walked into the girls room it seemed as though a rainbow blew up in there, then exploded and caught on fire... all at once... "What is this?" Zona asked with a smirk as she walked into he room some, "It looks like your tryin' to go to the world or rainbow... Ain't workin' though, is it?" She continued to smirk as she looked around the room, she did seem to be a good artist though.

"It's the creative mind personified in strategically placed items." She said. "As for the walls, I ran out of canvas. What else what I supposed to do?" Elaine explained like it was highly common for people to paint pictures on their empty walls. "That one is new." She pointed without looking to the barely started portion. She had been sketching a group of people walking down a street. She was far from finished because she couldn't decide what else she wanted to do to it. Holding up the cards she grinned. "Card game?"
"You could go out and get more..." Zona said as she raised an eyebrow to the girl, and her room. Elaine then pointed something out and Zona looked where she pointed. It was defiantly something, but Zona had a hard time calling it new since it wasn't finished, unless that was the look the girl wanted... Zona didn't understand art. Turning back to the girl she saw the cards in hand, "Ya, I'm game." She said, happy they would have something to do, not that staring at rainbow barf wasn't fun.

"Nah, too lazy." The girl smirked. "Come on. I hear family room floor just calling our names." She joked. She led them back down the hall and into the large room. Dropping herself to the floor she crossed her legs and began to shuffle the cards. "Which games are you familiar with? And then which do you want to play?" She shuffled once and it came together smoothly. But the second, the last three cards arched out of her hand. She snatched them back up and returned them to the deck. She enjoyed the lighting the bay window offered. Daylight itself to her was always much more fun then lamplight.
As Zona followed the girl back she realized that she had been holding her jacket, forgetting for a moment that she wanted to put that back on. As Elaine lead the way back into the larger room, Zona stop unknowingly, to put her jacket on. She started with the right are and pulled the sleeve up and over her shoulder, pain shot through her arm as her hand pulled the jacket up. Zona groaned, cringing some, before realizing she had stopped in the middle of the hallway, leaving Elaine in the other room to talk to herself.
Walking in she looked at the girl, "Well ain't ya the host or whatever, don't you pick the game first? If not, I'm fine with anythin', I know a good about of game." Zona said with a smirk and she walked up to where the girl was. Zona sat down in front of the girl as she then stuck her other hand in its sleeve and began to push it through, though she was using the other arm, pain still rippled through her injured one. That whole sticking your one arm behind your back all the way and pushing it through the sleeve to fast thing is what got her. "Ngh..." Zona muttered as she rose her other hand up next to the wound, pressing down next to it, hoping that the pressure would help calm the pain.

Elaine shuffled again without looking up. "Guests first." Setting the cards down she looked up as Zona was trying to get her jacket on. She had decided on War, that was a simple game but still fun to play. The girl watched for a moment. Zona was the most stubborn person she had ever met. She even topped Stephen on the scale. "Need anything?" Elaine began dealing cards in smooth, swift movements.
"Ya how about an arm that doesn't have a bullet hole in it. Ya got one of those handy? If so I'll take one of those." Zona joked as she lowered her hand some and rested it on her other arm. As long as she didn't move that arm she could deal with it fine, but the moment that moved... Zona turned her attention to the girl as she dealt the card, she watched carefully wondering was game was going to be played. "So what is this then?" She asked referring to the game and what was going to happen.

"Well I would offer you mine..." Elaine started her remark but couldn't finish and played off her hesitation as trying to remember her card count. "This is War, it's a really simple game. You split the deck and flip over two cards. Whoever has the highest amount wins. You know, three beats two and king beats queen. Ace trumps every time regardless." She explained trying to keep it simple. "If we flip matching numbers or face cards then we both deal three face down. You flip the third card and whichever has the highest gets all the cards that have been laid down. The goal is to get all the cards from the other person." As simple as the game was it could get competitive. Especially between her and her father, that was a sight. "Do you get it?" She asked making sure that all questions would be resolved before the game started.
Zona looked at the girl with a looked that screamed 'do you think I'm stupid'. "Ok so we are playin' War. Great. Thanks for the quick thing on the rules." Zona said with a hint of sarcasm to her voice. "I have played this before." Zona said in a softer voice with a light smile to go with it. The girl must think Zona had never even picked up a deck of cards before. It was rather funny. Zona then looked down at the cards as the girl dealt them out, this would be a fun way to pass some time.

"Hey! You asked!" Elaine cried holding her hands up in the don't-shoot-me stance. "Don't ask questions you don't need to know the answer to." She retorted. The girl picked up her stack of cards and flipped one out. Low number, geez already off to a downhill start. She grinned. "Beat that!" Elaine taunted flourishing her number four. She giggled and placed the card back on the floor.

"Hey don't ya give me that, I just asked for the name of the game. That's it." Zona said with a smirk as she picked up her stack of cards, tapping them on the sides slightly to even them all out. A the number four was thrown out and then flaunted, Zona couldn't help but laugh some, "I bet I can." Zona said with a smile as she threw down her card. "HA! I so beat that!" Zona said with another smirk as she sat back some. It was a two.

"If you've played it before then why did you ask? You should know what the game looks like." Elaine shot back with a grin. Then she looked down as Z placed a card. A two. "Probably in a world where people count backwards!" She laughed. She gathered the pair and set them aside close to her. She flipped out an eight. "Just being me with my questionable nature, what do you do for fun? Aside from being a nuisance to various store owners?"
