Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap

Open to Miss Ikuze Storm
Stephen adjusted his coat as he walked up to the Storm Residence's door. It was a cool afternoon; surprisingly not as cool as the past few days. Stephen was dressed in warm, slightly formal attire. The noble's right arm was in a sling, an injury caused by that terrifying ordeal. Due to this injury, he coat had to be left open because it would be too painful to put his arm through the sleeve. It would heal hopefully soon but only time would tell. After a few steps he reached the door. Taking a deep breath, he raised his left arm and knocked on the door then stepped back, waiting for an answer. There was a plan for his coming here on his own accord and he hoped to fulfill. He adjusted the collar of his coat as he waited.
Ikuze was sat in the dining hall, grumbling as she was going through the cutlery lesson for the tenth time today. "Still don't see why they have to have all of the stuff set out at once... wouldn't it be easier to just... bring the right cutlery with the meal at the time?" she asked, earning a thwap on her forehead from Linda. "Sorry milady, but no. Now, lets continue." she said, the thief sighing, wishing she could use her hands. But nope, they had to remain bandaged till they got better... which in turn meant that Sade had been pissed to know his main guitarist was reduced to vocals only for a while.
George answered the door, raising an eyebrow at the presence of Stephen, alone. "Yes sir?" he asked, the question multi-layered in its seeming simplicity.

Stephen cleared his throat and attempted to be pleasant. "Good Day George. Is, ah, Ikuze able to receive guests at the moment?" He had no idea why he was trying so hard to be formal. Actually he did; he was a tad bit nervous. He looked hopefully at George with his grey-blue eye. It had been a while since he had seen Ikuze and he wanted to make sure she was doing alright. That is why he visited. Well, that and a few other reasons.
George pondered for a moment, before the lady in question called down from her lesson. "I know grand-father said no visitors, but I doubt he'd refuse my fiancé now would he?" asked Ikuze, the butler frowning for a moment before relenting and stepping aside to admit the young man inside. The thief gave Stephen an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that... but grand-father's been a bit... over-protective since... then." she explained.

Stephen nodded his thanks to George as he entered the establishment. "An understandable action on his part" he commented with a slight smirk, halfway teasing her. The light matter of his attitude changed to concern with his next question. "How are you doing?" Spotting the dining utensils an idea formed in his head. "Do you think you are well enough to accompany me to lunch today? I know the perfect place in which you could exercise your skills in proper dining"
The girl shrugged. "Doing alright... been trying to speed this up with my healing spell... But nope. Seems bones are out of my range right now. Cuts and bruises sure... bah." she grumbled as she looked down at her bandaged hands, sighing a little as she looked longingly at the guitar in the corner of the room. When Stephen asked her out, she snickered a little. "Oh I think I can manage a little lunch... whether or not my jailors think the same is another question." she said, earning a scolding look from both George and Linda. "Love you~" Ikuze said sweetly, making the two servants roll their eyes at her antics. She then looked back to Stephen as she stood up. "Just so long as you promise not to laugh or cause a scene when I use the wrong fork." she said towards her fiancé.

The noble nodded, listening to Ikuze convey her present condition with apt concern. Her eyes slide to something at the corner of the room. Following her gaze he noticed the item of her interest: her guitar. Ah, she must miss playing it. He could sympathize; in his present condition he was unable to play his violin. Injuries were entirely annoying. Hopefully todays excursions might cheer her up some. A small, amused smirk lit his face at her treatment of her 'jailors.' When she turned back to look at him he had already wiped the smile from his face, replaced once more with a more serious look. He shook his head gravely "I can make no such promises, Ikuze. If you manage to embarrass yourself in public by grabbing the wrong utensil, it is my right to laugh. Hopefully, a traumatic moment will help improve your memory of the rules of proper table manners." The tease might have worked had his serious mask not twitched every so slightly into a grin. Oh course he would not make a scene about it, that was entirely unfair. That did not mean he could not tease he of course. Oh how fun it was to fluster the girl.
She caught his grin and replied with a feigned look of horror. "You would embarrass your wife to be so? In the week before the wedding? Oh how utterly uncouth of you sir." she fired back, offering her arm for him to collect as she had been taught by Caitlin to do. "Tell Grand-father I'll be back later. And if I catch you following Linda... I'll convince you you are a real kitty and let you chase around a ball of yarn for a few hours." she mock threatened the maid who puffed out her cheeks at her. "Then I shall endeavour to not be caught milady." was Linda's reply, earning a giggle from the blue haired noble thief.

With an amused chuckle, the noble took Ikuze's extended arm with his left and lead her out the door. "I promise to bring her back unscathed before dinner" he called out as they made their exit. Once outside he turned to her, his face still serious but with a hint of amusement in his eye. "I hope you do not mind walking to our destination. If not, just ask and I shall have a carriage sent for us right away. So, you really can convince people that they are cats?" he asked, interest in his eyes.
Ikuze shook her head. "Walking's fine... I'm having enough bother with corsets and cutlery... don't need to add on carriages to the mix thank you." she said before amusedly raising an eyebrow at the interest present in her fiancé's question. "Why? You want to find out hmm? I'll admit, it would be amusing to watch you crawl around on the floor, lapping up milk as a little bell went ching ching around your neck." said the thief with a wide smirk before chuckling. "Honestly though? I have no idea. I can certainly suggest things to people to do... maybe make them forget things for a while... but that kind of thing? I don't know. I'd have to actually give it a try." she admitted as she walked beside him.
