Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
"Tch" Andronikos said as he stood there for a second, trying to figure out what to do next. Eventually, he decided that he would follow them, and with the clanking of his armor, he made his way into the shop, but not before hitting his head on the top of the door and swearing under his breath.
Max quickly spotted Clancy standing in the back of the store, talking with the owner. Quickly walking over to him, Max tapped his shoulder and gestured to the big armored guy who just walked into the store. “I seem to have a slight problem here and you’re good at talking so could you help me out?”

Clancy turned to see who was vying for his attention with a pleasant smile. Following to where Max was pointing his eyes finally rested on large fellow by the door. Well, that man was certainly... big. "Ya want me ta talk ta 'im? Sure thing!" Clancy turned to the store keeper "I'll be back, gimme a second, 'kay?" "Take all the time you need!" the man assured with a rush, happy to get chatter box off his hands.
Clancy nodded and walked over to the new fellow with a big smile. "Hiya, yer really tall, ya know that. Ya probably do. Ya okay? Didja bump yer head on the door? It must be a bother ta have all these door ways so small. I betcha bump yer head on them all them all the time. Ya should file that they should make the door bigger, that way it wouldn't be no problem fer ya ever again! There would be big doors everywhere! But I don' know if i'd enjoy that 'cause it would make me feel even smaller than I already is... Ah, oh well, I'll get over it. OH! I fergot ta introduce maself!" He stuck out his hand to the other, excited to make a new acquaintance "Ma name's Clancy! Clancy Fuchs! It's ah pleasure ta meet ya! Fuchs is Fox in German ya know. I might have German in me but I don' really know... Guess it will just be a mystery! What's yer name?"

Max breathed a big sigh of relief as Clancy started chatting up the armored guy. Moving quietly not, she shuffled around the metal shop until she found the guy from outside, still wearing the scarf over their face. “So I never got your name,” she said as she came up next to him. Max hoped to at least learn their name before the armor guy realized Clancy was a distraction, if he realized at all. The next problem would be getting out of the shop since he stood right by the door…

"M'name's Danny Ravensdale, monster cartographer an' owner'a Raven's Flock deliv'ry services." Danny looked around the building and waved to the keeper at the counter. He called out to the man, "'ey Sal! Georgie says 'e'll 'ave the next shipment in by Tuesday!" The shop keeper merely grunted in reply.
"So 'ow'dya know Butterball over there?" Danny shoved one hand into a coat pocket and jerked his free thumb at Clancy.
“Just met him,” Max answered quickly, looking over at Clancy to see him happily chatting away. “He asked me to help him find a metal shop, and now I’m not sure how to get out of this one,” she added after a moment, looking around and confirming the lack of exits that didn’t involve the big guy. She reached into her pocket for a moment to felt her knife, confirming it was still there, and then held her hands behind her back. Her fidgeting never ended.

Danny stifled a yawn and looked at Max from behind his goggles. "Jus' relax... ya ain' got nothin' ta worry 'bout. Sal keeps a shotgun b'hind the counter in case somethin' ever 'appens." Danny pulled out two small apple flavored hard candies and popped one into his mouth. "Wan' one?" He held the other out for his fidgety partner before continuing to speak. "So, Maxie, wha's eatin' ya? Or ya jus' one'a them folks tha' 'ave lotsa energy?"
Looking at the candy a moment before taking it, Max popped it into her mouth and immediately enjoyed the flavor. Knowing that the owner had a shotgun didn't comfort her in the slightest, but she was starting to get the impressing Danny was a fighter. And it was always easy to run away with a fighter distracting them. As to Danny’s question, it took her a minute to realize it was directed at her fidgety-ness. She shrugged and moved her eyes elsewhere, savoring the candy’s flavor, it took her mind off the throbbing elbow. “Just a habit,” she said finally, readjusting her right arm so that it looked less like an injury.

Danny shrugged his shoulders. "Migh' make folks nervous. Jus' a thought." The boy leaned against the wall and watched the giant and the fruitloop for a minute. "So, Maxie, wha's yer fav'rite color? Figure if ya ain' keen on jus' walkin' out ya migh' be 'ere awhile..."
Andronikos stared down at Clancy with an expression that could not be read due to his helmet, and did so for a few moments that felt much longer than they actually were. Intimidated by the talkative man, he clenched and unclenched his fists, then exited the shop. (Sorry that he was in there for only a little while, but he's leaving the thread now unless you want him back in.)
Sighing slightly, Max leaned against the wall as well, but made sure to keep her distance from Danny. “Red is a nice color,” she replied, swallowing the last bit of the candy. Hearing some loud footsteps, she looked up to see the guard leaving the shop. Evidently sicking Clancy on him was the right idea. Stepping off the wall just moments after she had rested her weight against it, she took a couple steps for the door, eager to get out. Pausing a moment as Clancy returned to the shop owner, Max walked quickly over to the door and stepped out and not particularly caring if Danny followed or not. Today was just one high strung day for her.

Danny waggled his fingers at Max as the he... she... whatever they were, left. He got up and walked out himself a minute later, but not before tapping Clancy's shoulder to try and get him to look the wrong way. Once outside, he headed up one of the walls nearby and disappeared to continue his work.

Zona had been outside watching the two men argue, and a fight slowly unfold, it was a rather sad fight, one hit and the guy was out cold. Zona wasn't here to watch a fight though, she wanted to see if any of the shops had any better tipped arrows that she could use, the ones she had were very old and worn down. As the crowd began to disperse Zona went about her business, looking at all the different shops. "Wood store, or the metal store?..." Zona thought to herself, picking one at random she went into the closest one first, the metal shop. As she got closer she watched as a large metal man exited the store in a rather hurry, and moments after the boy named Danny came out and disappeared as quickly as he appeared. Walking in she saw Clancy, not wanting to disturb him from whatever he was doing Zona just waved as she walked past to the back of the store. "Hello? I need some help here..." Zona said as she stood at the back counter looking for the owner of the store.

Clancy smiled at Zona when she waved before looking back to talk to- Oh guess the fella didn't wanna talk. Clancy blinked as he watched the man make a hasty retreat back outside. With a shrug then turned his attention back to Zona "Hiya Z! Whatcha doin' here? Gettin' arrow stuff maybe?" he chirped, walking excitedly over to her.

Zona turned to the boy as he approached her, "Ya I actually am here for arrow stuff." Zona said, surprised that he knew why she was here. "Hey maybe you could help me, do you know this store well?" Zona asked thinking he could help her quicker than the man who ran this place, who still didn't seem to be here yet.
