Prepare for the #LodanRespawn2024 Existing characters may choose to be displace from/have memories of different timelines, thereby allowing returning members the option to retcon their whole character. These changes are the result of the "Unnatural Fog" plot device that is running between now and the Respawn. The plot is simple: no matter where your character is, that place is shrouded in a thick fog that suspends time, but not thoughts or memories, so even if they're repeating the same day over and over again, they continue to remember, so each time feels like a new day. For those retconning OCs; this is where new versions of themselves have the opportunity to replace the old versions. Official lore and tree updates will be announced asap
Open to IacomusClancy was surprisingly sober and at home tonight. He had a few guns he had wanted to finish before he went to sleep so he had spent all day working on them. It was a wonderful cool night so he decided to sit on the steps in front of his shop as he worked. He was just finishing up the final touches on the last gun, humming a song to himself. Clancy was tone deaf so he had no idea how off key his little melody was.

Iacomus walked back to his shop, quickly now, with his umbrella tucked underneath his arm and his hand on his head, his fingers locked inside his black-blue curls. He looked rather weary, his raccoon-eyes looking even worse. He knew he was forgetting something... He knew he was forgetting a lot of things... And his head throbbed. He just didn't know what the things he was forgetting were! He looked up and saw Clancy sitting outside working on something. He walked over to him. "Clancy, why did you allow me to go off and make a fool of myself as I did!? I cann't even seem to remember what went on!" He called as he stood in front of him. He looked down at the pink-haired main and noticed, (with great surprise,) that he seemed not to have a drop of alcohol in him - although he knew that couldn't be the case - and was working on crafting something. "You-... Weren't involved, were you?" Iacomus said after realizing that if Clancy was sober, he probably had nothing to do with it. The organ-seller covered his eyes and looked up, chuckling at his stupidity, but this made everything even more confusing. He brought his fingers down and rested his palm where his mouth was and sighed.
Clancy brightened when Iacomus walked up to him. He was about to say something but what Iacomus said made absolutely no sense to him. The blank/ confused smile on his face must have conveyed as much since Iacomus took back his last comment. "I don' know what yer talkin' about. Sorry! Didja have a fun night with out me or somethin'..." Giving Iacomus the once over he raised his eyebrows a little "Ya don' really look tha greatest.... Are ya hung over or somethin'? I got just tha thing fer ya! Wanna come inside?" he asked, getting up to collect his stuff anyways.

"Do I look hungover? I might be hungover... " Iacomus said as he followed Clancy inside, forgetting about his typical flamboyant flare. "I do seem to have a massive headache, and I remember almost nothing about tonight, so alcohol must be the answer as to what happened, but..." He trailed of as he sat himself down in a chair in the corner, putting his hand up to his curly hair again. "I know that I cannot hold my liquor, so why, then, would I allow myself to go and do something so humiliating?" he sighed and smiled wearily at Clancy " I do apologize profusely, I'm probably being a bother. The way I confronted you was rather rude, and I am very, very sorry. "
Clancy listened to Iaco talk as he set down his wares then ran to get him a glass of water. As he set it down in front of him, he smiled then leaned down and gave him a light kiss on the side of his forehead. Turning he pulled up a chair so that he could sit across from him. "It's all right! Ya ain't no bother at all! If I thought ah friend had ditched me I woulda confronted 'em too! Ya've had ah rough night it looks like. Mmm, ya don' exactly look hungover but ya don' look like sunshine and daisies at tha moment." Clancy leaned back into his chair, tired but happy that he got to see Iaco. "I'm sorry 'bout yer headache. Did ya have a stressful day today? Can I get ya anythin' else?" he asked with concern.

"Thank you so very much Clancy, you are always too kind to me." Iacomus said as he slowly grasped the glass of water in front of him, then flicked his eyes up to Clancy. The poor boy was worried about him. Iacomus almost felt a tug of guilt about this, as he was quite sure he deserved none of his care... But at the same time, he counted it as a victory of sorts. He smirked a bit, but sighed as his face grew serious again. "I suppose the evening could have been stressful, but seeing as I can remember none of it, I have no idea."
Clancy nodded "Well, maybe check yer pockets? There might be sumtin' in there that could help ya remember what happened. Like once, I had this really bad hangover and I couldn' figure out what I did tha night before. So I searched ma things and found a whole buncha wheat in ma clothing and that helped me figure out what I did the night before!" He giggled to himself then shook his head "Anywho, maybe that will help ya!" He shifted a little in his seat so that he was sitting closer to Iaco.

"Well, - alright." Iacomus said with a sigh as he reached into his pocket, and pulled out the letter that he had picked up from the hunter, the one with the information about the woman they were hunting. "Huh?" Iacomus said with a slight sneer as he unraveled "My my... What on Earth could I have been doing? This just makes it all even more confusing. "

"A letter issued about a wanted person, a "Rava" of some sort, by a group of "hunters"... Dear Clancy, do you recognize this symbol?" Iacomus asked as he turned around the piece of parchment and pointed to a stamp that was where the signature would be that, unbeknownst to him, was the symbol of the hunters.
Clancy squinted at the symbol with a frown "Nah, I don' reckon I do. Never seen it before..." His brain processed what he had managed to spot on the paper. "Is someone looking for something?"

"Well, I am certainly not one of the people that it is addressed to, so why is it in my possession?" Iacomus said as he turned the printed side back to himself again and looked at it with a contemplative expression. "Was I delivering it to someone, perhaps? No, there is no envelope, and with something of this topic, I don't believe they'd allow it to be so easily opened..." He sighed as he closed the letter and shook his head "I don't know, Clancy, I truly do not know..." after a seconds pause, Iacomus yawned a rather large yawn, then looked back up at Clancy "I do apologize for that, I did not mean to be rude." He took a large swig of the water Clancy had gotten for him.
Clancy waved his hand with a grin "It's all good. Ya don' need ta act all proper around me!" His hazel eyes drifted up to watch Iaco. The dark haired man seemed intent on figuring out the riddle of the unknown letter. A small crinkle formed between the taller males eyebrows as he concentrated on the latter. The small smile on Clancy's face softened as he examined the man in front of him. Sometimes, when things where quiet, he got to appreciate how lucky he was to have Iaco in his life. Just when he thought life might be getting to stressful for him, when it felt like the whole world was out to make him sad, he would just look have to look at Iaco and suddenly everything was alright; with Iaco around, he felt like even his worst days were the best he'd had in years. Clancy had always tried his hardest to be the best he could be with everyone he met but with Iaco, he felt amazing without even trying. The pink haired male was lost in his thoughts as he continued to stare lovingly at Iacomus.

Iacomus scanned over the letter again. No ideas came to him, and he was still very confused by the whole ordeal. However, he felt someone's intense gaze, and he glanced up with his yellow eyes to see Clancy looking at him with a loving, but very out-of-it sort of expression. Iacomus smirked and a few low chuckles escaped his closed lips. "..... What are you thinking about, Clancy?" He did truly like that boy, Clancy. He wished he could spend time with him more often... They did spend a good amount of time together, of course, but even so...
Clancy blinked, pulled out of his thoughts by the very man he had been thinking of. "Oh, aha, Sorry" he apologized, blushing a bit. "I was just think 'bout how lucky I am ta have ya" Awkward as it may be to admit it to the guy of his dreams, it was the honest truth and there was no reason to hide it. The smaller males hand went up to scratch his oddly colored hair as he grinned at Iaco, not regretting his words in any way.
