Open to all!
Iacomus was in search of a beach. He wasn't sure if there was one in Lodan, as he had not explored this part of the city yet. He snickered when he thought of the reason. He hoped to invite Clancy to go to a beach with him at some point, and hoped that he would not be too afraid to do so. However, he was having quite a nice time exploring this port on his own. He had to admit, he was not very versed in seafaring events, but he was interested all the same. He saw a zepplin of some sort take flight in the distance, and he watched in awe at it's slow arising. A little bit of ocean wind blew past his face, moving some stray spirals of his deep blue hair slightly like fragile springs. He started to walk again, quickly now, across the damp wooden planks that made up the dock, green algae growing in between the cracks and slivers of the dark structures. He hummed a song innocently as he made his way along, as rugged sailors glared at him with their suspecting eyes, the looks on their weather-worn faces signaling that he was not welcome there. That was obvious, of course, as he wore his somewhat fanciful attire, but he continued on his way, humming a melancholy tune...
He eventually came to a spot that was probably not a beach, but would do... Possibly... It was made up of large brown granules of sand, that wasn't really ideal for a setting that was supposed to promote relaxation and calamity... Not to mention the various odds and ends scattered along the premises; Shattered booze bottles, parts of a ship's hull that had broken off and washed ashore, a pair of lens-less goggles, numerous types of dead fish, and the like... Despite all this, Iacomus decided to check it out.
"Oh my..." he mumbled to himself, as he imagined what would happen if he were to make his way down there, on the sand, with his favorite pair of boots. He removed them, and his socks as well, and proceeded with his bare feet and all, down to the waterfront. He stood where the waves would lap at his toes with the tide, and looked at the sky, full of tiny distant ships now, and smirked. No, this beach would not do, but the view was spectacular.
